News: Woman seriously injured after being hit by vehicle in Aiea

HONOLULU, HI – A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Aiea on Saturday night, Hawaii News New reports.

Honolulu EMS responded to the scene on Moanalua Road after the incident occurred at about 5:30 p.m.

Investigators said a man and a woman had gotten into an argument and the man intentionally drove his vehicle into the woman.

The victim was thrown over the car and ended up on the asphalt. She was hospitalized in serious condition.

The man, identified as 34-year-old Jordon Rodrigues, fled the scene but was later apprehended. He was charged with second-degree attempted murder.
