Head-on collision on Kamehameha Highway leaves 6 injured

HAUULA, HI – Paramedics with Honolulu Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene of a vehicle accident Wednesday night, according to Hawaii News Now.

The head-on collision took place on Kamehameha Highway in Hauula at about 9 p.m.   Officials said a total of six people were injured in the wreck and transported to area hospitals.  Four of them suffered serious injuries, a 56-year-old man and three women ages 56, 21, and 18.  Two other injured victims were reported to be in stable condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
