Car accident on Oahu’s North Shore sends 4 teenagers to hospital

OAHU, HI – A car crash on Oahu’s North Shore sent four teenagers to the hospital on Tuesday night, according to Hawaii News Now.

The four, all 17-year-old boys, were in a car that crashed into a pole on Kamehameha Highway near Turtle Bay.

First responders arrived at the scene after the incident occurred at about 9:30 p.m.  Firefighters extricated the four teens from the vehicle, and Honolulu Emergency Medical Services crews transported them to an area trauma center.

The four were all listed in serious condition.

Police are investigating to determine the cause of the wreck.
