HONOLULU, HI – A bicyclist was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver in Honolulu on Sunday night, the Honolulu Police Department said.
The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Kamuki Avenue in the Kapahulu area. Police learned that a 45-year-old woman was riding a bicycle eastbound and was rear-ended by a vehicle.
The driver fled the scene heading east on Kaimuki Avenue and has not yet been identified.
The bicyclist was transported to an area hospital and was listed in serious condition.
Anyone with further information was asked to contact the Honolulu Police Department, Traffic Division.
