WAIKIKI, HI – Paramedics rushed to the aid of a woman injured in a pedestrian accident in Waikiki on Wednesday evening, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
The crash took place near the intersection of Kalakaua Avenue and Saratoga Road. Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said a 37-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle in the area shortly before 6:50 p.m., leaving her seriously injured.
EMS crews treated her at the scene, then took her to area hospital for further treatment. No details were released about the driver involved.
The collision remains under investigation by Honolulu police.
