Woman, 24, seriously injured in motorcycle accident on H1 Freeway west

AEIA, HI – A woman was hospitalized following a motorcycle accident in Aeia on Wednesday afternoon, KITV Traffic reported.

The incident occurred on the H1 Freeway westbound near the Aiea Heights Overpass shortly before 3 p.m.

A 24-year-old woman riding a motorcycle at that location was involved in a collision.  She was transported to an area hospital and was listed in serious condition.

The Honolulu Police Department responded to the scene, and the crash was moved off to the Waimalu exit.
