Traffic snarled on eastbound H-1 Freeway due to crash, stalled vehicles

HONOLULU, HI – Drivers faced major traffic delays on the eastbound H-1 Freeway during Thursday morning’s rush hour due to a crash and stalled vehicles, Hawaii News Now reports.

Two vehicles stalled out near the Vineyard exit, including a water delivery truck. It prompted police to close the two far left lanes of the freeway from the Vineyard off-ramp to the Lilila Access Overpass at about 5 a.m.

After the delivery truck was moved from the scene, it crashed near the Pali off-ramp.  Traffic was reported to be snarled across the airport viaduct, on Moanalua Freeway and North Nimitz Highway.  Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
