HONOLULU, HI – An accident in Honolulu on Monday morning left a teenage moped rider injured, KITV reports.
The crash, which occurred at about 11 a.m., occurred in the area of Keeaumoku Street and Dominis Street. Crews with Honolulu Emergency Medical Services arrived to find the victim, believed to be 16-years-old, who had hit a vehicle while riding a moped.
The rider suffered a head injury and was in serious condition after being taken to an area hospital. The teenager was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
