Single-vehicle crash shuts down Farrington Highway in Nanakuli

HONOLULU, HI – First responders closed all lanes of the Farrington Highway following a crash on Monday night.

According to Hawaii News Now, the crash took place in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Lualualei Naval Road at about 11 p.m.

Police say the driver of an unspecified vehicle lost control and slammed into a Hawaiian Telecom pole, coming to rest against telephone wires.

Medical personnel confirmed that the driver involved in the incident was in stable condition and declined medical treatment.
