Pedestrian injured after being hit by trolley in Keeaumoku area

HONOLULU, HI – An accident at a Honolulu intersection Wednesday sent a pedestrian to the hospital, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports.

The incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. at the corner of Rycroft Street and Keeaumoku Street in the Keeaumoku area.  Honolulu Emergency Medical Services arrived to find that a 66-year-old man had been hit by a trolley.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

No details were released on the circumstances leading up to the collision.
