Pedestrian accident in Waipahu injures 2 children, ages 10 and 7

WAIPAHU, HI – Paramedics were called to the scene of a pedestrian accident in Waipahu that left two children injured, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

The incident occurred Dec. 18 shortly before 2:19 in the vicinity of Pupukahi Street and Waipahu Street.  Honolulu Emergency Medical Services crews arrived to provide care for the injured children, a 10-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl.

The two were transported to area hospitals, where the boy was listed in serious condition while the girl was in stable condition.

No details were immediately released on the circumstances that led to the crash.
