Multi-vehicle crash on freeway in Kapolei sends 2 women, 2 children to hospital

KAPOLEI, HI – A multi-vehicle accident on the H1 Freeway in the Kapolei area on Monday evening left four people injured, Hawaii News Now reports.

The crash took place on the freeway’s Wakea off-ramp near Kamokila Boulevard at about 6 p.m.  Honolulu EMS responded to the scene and rushed the injured to an area hospital.

The victims, two women ages 24 and 19 and two girls ages 5 and 4, were all reported to have suffered serious injuries.  No details were released on the circumstances leading to the wreck.
