HONOLULU, HI – Paramedics and firefighters were dispatched to the site of a crash involving multiple vehicles in Downtown Honolulu, KITV reported.
The wreck took place in the vicinity of South Vineyard Boulevard and Nuuanu Avenue. Honolulu Emergency Medical Services crews arrived at about 9:35 p.m. and found that three men had been injured in the incident.
Life-saving treatment was administered to the victims, a 47-year-old and two 21-year-olds. The three were transported to an area emergency room, where they listed in serious condition. One person had to be rescued after being trapped in one of the vehicles.
Vineyard Boulevard was shut down between Pali Highway and Maunakea Street during the accident response efforts.
