Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision with truck on H1 Freeway east

HONOLULU, HI – A motorcycle rider was injured in a collision on the H1 Freeway in Honolulu on Tuesday, KITV Traffic reported.

The incident happened along the eastbound freeway in Aiea, according to an update at 1:17 p.m. The motorcyclist was involved in a crash with a flatbed truck, and was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.

The accident blocked the two left lanes of the H1 after the Kaahumanu overpass. A tow truck was dispatched to the scene to remove the truck.

EMS crews responded to the scene along with Honolulu police and firefighters and the Freeway Service Patrol.
