KANEOHE, HI – Paramedics were called to a collision in Kaneohe that injured a motorcycle rider on Saturday morning, KITV reported.
The crash took place in the area of Haiku Road and Alaloa Street near Windward Mall. Officials said the motorcyclist crashed into a car at about 11 a.m.
The motorcyclist, a 43-year-old man, was seriously injured and transported to a local hospital. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The driver of the car was not injured. No information was released on the circumstances that led to the accident.
