HONOLULU, HI – A man died after his motorcycle crashed in Waikiki on Saturday night, KHON reported.
The incident took place along Ala Moana Boulevard at about 10:50 p.m. The Honolulu Police Department said the 34-year-old victim was riding his motorcycle west on Ala Moana Boulevard, went to the left on the roadway, and crashed into the concrete center. He was thrown from the bike and struck a street lamp pole.
The victim, whose name was not released, suffered fatal injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to investigators.
The westbound lanes of Ala Moana Boulevard were shut down at Hobron Lane for the accident response and investigation.
