HONOLULU, HI – A collision in Waikiki left a motorcyclist injured and blocked traffic, according to KHON.
Police and paramedics responded to the scene May 7 in the area of Kalakaua Avenue and Pāʻu Street. An investigation determined that a 38-year-old man riding a motorcycle was hit by a vehicle.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said the motorcyclist was hospitalized but no details were released on the extent of his injuries.
Honolulu police said two lanes of traffic were closed on Kalakaua Avenue at McCully Street before reopening later.
