PEARL CITY, HI – A moped rider was rushed to the hospital following a collision with a bus in Pearl City on Wednesday morning, KHON reported.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the area of Moanalua Road and Hoolaulea Street after the incident occurred at 6:15 a.m.

The moped rider, a man in his 30s, was treated at the scene for a possible head injury. He was transported to an emergency room and was reported to be in serious condition.
