Moped rider hospitalized after accident on Kamehameha Highway

PEARL CITY, HI – A moped rider was injured in a collision in Pearl City on Wednesday night, according to KITV Traffic.

A report at 10:13 p.m. said the incident occurred on Kamehameha Highway east at the intersection with Acacia Road.

The rider was reported to be conscious and was transported to an area hospital.  No details were released on the victim’s condition.

The Honolulu Police Department and Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene of the crash.
