HONOLULU, HI – A man was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Waipahu late Monday night, Hawaii News Now reports.
Honolulu police and paramedics were dispatched to the area of Loaa Street and Honowai Street after being notified of the incident at about 11:45 p.m.
Police said two men, ages 33 and 21, had gotten into a fight at that location, and one of the men was hit by the other’s vehicle during the altercation.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition with leg injuries. The other man involved in the incident was subsequently identified and arrested.
