Man injured when vehicle collides with moped on Farrington Highway

HONOLULU, HI – A moped rider was taken to the hospital following an accident on Farrington Highway in Maili Tuesday night, according to KITV.

Emergency Medical Services crews were dispatched to the scene at Milikami Street after the incident took place at about 7:40 p.m.

Crews arrived to find that a 40-year-old man riding a moped had been struck by a vehicle at that location.  He was seriously injured and transported to an area hospital.

The inside lanes of Farrington Highway were closed in both directions at Milikami Street for the accident response and investigation.
