HONOLULU, HI – A collision in the Makiki section of Honolulu injured a man riding an e-scooter, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
The incident occurred Monday morning at Kinau Street and Pensacola Street, where Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded at about 9 a.m.
Officials said a car struck a 50-year-old e-scooter rider at that location. The victim, who was wearing a helmet, was rushed by paramedics to an area hospital. He was listed in serious condition.
