Man critically injured when motorcycle goes off cliff in Honolulu

HONOLULU, HI – An accident in Honolulu on Thursday night left a motorcycle rider critically injured, according to a KITV report.

Paramedics were dispatched to the area of Puowaina Drive and Hookui Street after the incident took place at about 8 p.m.  Honolulu EMS said that a 46-year-old man was riding a motorcycle when he crashed and went about 10 feet over a cliff.   He was given advanced life support while being rushed to an area hospital for further treatment.

Due to the crash, Hookui Street was closed between Puowaina Drive and Auwaiolimu Street while police and first responders worked at the scene.
