Lanes blocked on H1 Freeway in Aiea after dump truck crashes into wall

AIEA, HI – An accident involving a dump truck disrupted traffic for motorists in the Aiea area on Wednesday afternoon.

According to a report by KITV Traffic at 1:13 p.m., the truck crashed into the Zipper Lane wall on the H1 Freeway, about 400 feet before the Kaonohi Street overpass.  The accident caused damage to the wall and sent concrete debris onto the freeway.

The two left lanes of the freeway were blocked while emergency crews responded to the scene.  There were no immediate reports of injuries.
