HAIKU, HI – Police identified a driver killed when her vehicle crashed in Haiku last week, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

The victim of the Oct. 31 wreck was 44-year-old Shelly Kan-Hai of Kahului, Maui police said.

Investigators learned that she was driving a 2015 Kia Sorento on West Kuiaha Road at about 5:55 a.m. when she veered off the roadway.  The Kia hit a fence, rolled and overturned.
