HONOLULU, HI – Honolulu police said a speeding driver was involved in a collision Wednesday night that sent three people to the hospital.
According to Hawaii News Now, the incident occurred on North School Street in Kalihi at about 10:50 p.m. An investigation indicated that a driver was trying to make a left turn onto the street and crashed into another vehicle head-on. The driver of the second vehicle was believed to have been speeding at the time.
The driver of the first vehicle, a 49-year-old man, and his passenger, a 54-year-old man, were critically injured in the wreck. The driver of the second vehicle, a 32-year-old man, was seriously injured.
Honolulu police are continuing their investigation into the crash.
