HAWAII KAI, HI – Police and paramedics were called to the scene of a head-on collision in Hawaii Kai on Tuesday afternoon, KITV reports.
Two cars crashed at about 2:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Hawaii Kai Drive and Lunalilo Home Road. Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said a 42-year-old woman was seriously injured and taken to an area hospital.
Two other people involved in the wreck were evaluated at the scene but declined to be taken to the hospital.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the accident.
