KAPOLEI, HI – Paramedics were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle crash in the Kapolei area on Monday afternoon, KITV reported.
The incident, reported to have been a head-on collision, took place at the intersection of Fort Barrette Road and Franklin D. Roosevelt Avenue.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene at about 12:10 p.m. and treated two people involved, a man believed to be in his 40s and a woman believed to be in her 30s.
The man was taken to an area emergency room and was listed in serious condition, while the woman declined further treatment at the scene. No further information was released on what led to the accident.
