Hawaii police searching for driver in Hilo hit-and-run incident

HONOLULU, HI – Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the driver involved in a traffic hit-and-run incident last month.

In a news release, police said the accident happened on the morning of March 25 in the 200-block of West Lanikaula Street in Hilo.  According to investigators, a white Dodge pickup truck with a black trailer appears to have been involved and was captured on video.

Anyone with information relative to this investigation to the Hilo Patrol division of the Hawai‘i Police Department or Crime Stoppers.  All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
