HONOLULU, HI – A bicycle accident near Ala Moana last week sent a teenage rider to the hospital, KITV reported.
The incident happened April 15 in the area of Kapiolani Boulevard and Atkinson Drive. According to information provided by first responders, a 17-year-old boy was riding an e-bike at about 7:50 p.m. when he collided with a car.
The teen, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered injuries to his lower body. He was treated at the scene by Honolulu Emergency Medical Services before being transported to an area emergency room, where he was reported to be in serious condition.
