PEARL CITY, HI – Honolulu Emergency Medical Services crews responded to a bicycle accident in Pearl City early Friday morning, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
EMS said a 27-year-old man was riding his e-bicycle on Komo Mai Drive near Lanikeha Place when the incident happened at about 5:20 a.m.
The bicycle rider, who was not wearing a helmet, lost control of the bike and hit the roadway, suffering a possible head injury.
He was transported to an area emergency room, where he was listed in serious condition.
