Driver taken to hospital following rollover accident in Makiki

MAKIKI, HI – A rollover accident in Makiki on Sunday sent one of the drivers to the hospital, reports Hawaii News Now.

The Honolulu Fire Department was called to the scene after two vehicles collided in the area of Piikoi Street and Hassinger Street shortly before noon. The investigation indicated that one car sideswiped another, causing the second vehicle to overturn.

All occupants of the flipped car were able to get out safely. EMS crews took the driver of that car to an area hospital, where the victim was reported to be in stable condition. The other driver involved was also in stable condition. No other injuries were reported.
