HONOLULU, HI – A man was critically injured in a crash involving a hit-and-run driver in Honolulu, according to police.
Hawaii News Now reports the incident occurred Saturday morning on Farrington Highway in the Mokuleia area. A driver headed west at about 12:45 am. went off the roadway and crashed into a car that was parked on the shoulder.
The parked car was pushed into two men, both age 27, who had been loading equipment into the back of it. One of the men was transported to an area hospital and listed in critical condition. The other man was not injured.
Police said the driver who struck the parked car fled the scene on foot and is now being sought. Anyone with information regarding the case was asked to contact Honolulu CrimeStoppers.
