Driver seriously injured after crashes, flips in Kailua

KAILUA, HI – A car accident in Kailua left a motorist seriously injured, according to Hawaii News Now.

Emergency Medical Services crews responded to the scene Saturday afternoon on Keolu Drive. Officials said a man was driving shortly before 3 p.m. when he struck another vehicle and then a mailbox, causing his car to flip.

The driver, a man in his 50’s, was taken to an area hospital where he was listed in serious condition. The driver of the other vehicle declined medical treatment.
