HONOLULU, HI – The Honolulu Police Department said one person was killed and two others were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday night.
According to a report by Hawaii News Now, a driver was traveling at high speed in the Ahuimani area when the accident happened at about 8:50 p.m.
Police said the vehicle collided with two unoccupied, parked vehicles near Hui Kelu Street and Aka Place, then crashed into a rock wall. The driver, a 23-year-old man, was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital.
Two passengers in the vehicle were seriously injured, both men in their 20s. Police said none of the occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the wreck.
