Crash in Ala Moana area leaves 2 women seriously injured

ALA MOANA, HI- First responders were called to the scene of a two-car collision in the Ala Moana area on Saturday evening, according to KITV.

The vehicles crashed at 6:47 p.m. in the area of Atkinson Drive and Kapiolani Boulevard. Two women were injured in the wreck, and one of them was pinned.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services took the victims, ages 41 and 77, to a local emergency room to be treated for multiple injuries. Both were listed in serious condition.

No details were released on the circumstances that led to the accident.
