HONOLULU, HI – Police and emergency crews were dispatched to a vehicle collision on the H-1 Freeway on Oahu Tuesday morning.
According to an advisory by the Hawaii Department of Transportation shortly before noon, the crash took place on the eastbound side of the freeway at the Waikele on-ramp.
The far right lane was shut down while the ramp was partially closed.. Waikele on-ramp traffic was being detoured around the site. Drivers were advised to proceed with caution and move over for first responders on the roadway.
The Honolulu Police Department responded to the scene along with the Honolulu Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services. No details were released regarding injuries.
