Collision on H-1 Freeway in Honolulu leaves man seriously injured

HONOLULU, HI – Authorities said a collision in Honolulu on Wednesday left one person hospitalized, according to KITV.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash on the westbound side of the H-1 Freeway near the off ramp to the Pali Highway. A 21-year-old man involved in the wreck was seriously injured and transported to an area hospital. It was not clear if he was a driver or a passenger.

Three other people were treated at the scene by Honolulu Emergency Medical Services. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
