Collision involving truck in Honolulu sends 4 to hospital

HONOLULU, HI – Four people were taken to the hospital following a collision in Honolulu on Sunday morning, KHON reports.

Paramedics responded to the scene after a truck and another vehicle crashed in the Kakaako neighborhood at about 7 a.m.  The incident happened in the vicinity of Ward Avenue and Ilalo Street.

The injured victims included three men, ages 27, 24, and 20, and a 30-year-old woman.  All were transported by Emergency Medical Services with serious injuries.  Two other people involved in the accident declined to be transported, EMS said.
