KALIHI, HI – An accident was disrupting traffic in a portion of Honolulu on Wednesday night, according to KITV Traffic.
A report posted at 10:20 p.m. said the incident was a major collision that occurred on Moanalua Freeway westbound after the Middle Street overpass in the Kalihi neighborhood. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
The crash shut down the left and middle lanes across from the Ahua/Fort Shafter exit and only one lane of traffic was getting by.
The Honolulu Police Department, Honolulu Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services were all at the scene, and a tow truck was requested.
