Collision blocks 2 lanes on H-1 Freeway westbound near Pearl City exit

HONOLULU, HI – The Honolulu Police Department was called to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon.

According to an alert from the Hawaii Department of Transportation shortly before 4 p.m., the crash happened along the H-1 Freeway.  It was reported to be blocking two westbound lanes near the Pearl City exit.  Tow wagons were called to the scene.  There was no immediate word of any injuries.

The DOT issued an update later that the wreck had been cleared and all lanes had been reopened.
