7-year-old boy hospitalized after being struck by car in Waipahu

WAIPAHU, HI – Paramedics were called to the scene of an accident in Waipahu that left a young boy injured, according to KITV.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said the 7-year-old victim was hit by a car on Hiapo Street shortly before 7:30 a.m.

The boy was rushed to the hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.  No further details were released on what led to the crash.
