2 injured in vehicle collision on Kunia Road in Waipahu area

HONOLULU, HI – A collision on Kunia Road near the Hawaii Country Club sent two people to the hospital early Tuesday morning, KITV reports.

Two cars were involved in the crash in the Waipahu area that occurred at about 5:45 a.m. Honolulu Emergency Medical Services was dispatched to the scene and found that a 21-year-old man had been seriously injured.

The man was transported to an area hospital along with a 54-year-old woman who was listed in stable condition.

It was not yet clear what led to the accident, which shut down Kunia Road in both directions for the crash investigation.
