HONOLULU, HI – Police and first responders were dispatched to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the H-1 Freeway in Honolulu on Monday afternoon, Hawaii News Now reports.
The accident happened near the Farrington Highway Overpass. Witnesses reported that one of the vehicles flipped multiple times and ended up on its roof.
Two people were taken to an area hospital in critical condition, but were later said to be in stable condition.
Multiple lanes of the freeway were shut down while Honolulu police and firefighters along with EMS crews responded to the wreck, slowing traffic through the area.
