2 injured in crash involving moped and pedestrian in Honolulu

HONOLULU, HI – A collision involving a moped in Honolulu sent two people to the hospital early Saturday morning, KITV reported.

Emergency Medical Services was called to the scene at the intersection of Ala Moana Boulevard and Queen Street.  EMS said a moped rider hit a pedestrian at that location just after 3 a.m.

The two injured victims, a 28-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman, were listed in serious condition after being transported to an area hospital.  No one else was injured in the accident.
