2 crashes cause rush-hour traffic backups on Likelike Highway

HONOLULU, HI – Drivers in Honolulu were encountering traffic backups during Thursday evening’s rush hour due to two separate crashes, Hawaii News Now reports.

The two incidents took place on Likelike Highway in the Wilson Tunnel bound for Kaneohe, and occurred just before 6 p.m. Both were multi-vehicle accidents but there were no reports of any major injuries.

There were extensive traffic delays through the area as lanes of the highway were shut down for over an hour.
