KA’AAWA, HI – Paramedics were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident in the Ka’aawa area on Sunday afternoon, KITV reported.
Three vehicles were involved in the wreck that occurred at about 3 p.m., according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services.
Medical aid was rendered to three crash victims, a 25-year-old man, a 21-year-old man, and a 56-year-old woman. All three were taken to an area hospital in serious condition. A fourth person, a man believed to be in his 40s, was evaluated at the scene but declined to be transported.
No details were immediately available on the circumstances that led to the accident.
