NANAKULI, HI – A multi-vehicle accident in Nanakuli last week left three people injured, one critically.
Hawaii News Now reported details of the wreck, which occurred Friday morning near the intersection of Farrington Highway and Auyong Homestead Road.
Honolulu police believe a 31-year-old man was driving at high speed at about 5:20 a.m. when he sideswiped another vehicle on Farrington Highway. He lost control and crashed into other vehicles, with a total of six cars involved.
Honolulu Fire Department crews were able to extricate one person who was trapped in a vehicle. The 31-year-old driver was hospitalized in critical condition, while two other people, men in their 30s, were seriously injured.
