HONOLULU, HI – Six people were injured in an accident involving multiple vehicles on the H-1 Freeway Wednesday morning, police said.
According to Hawaii News Now, the incident happened along the eastbound portion of the freeway between the Kaahumanu and Kaonohi overpasses in the Aiea area shortly before 5:30 a.m. Four vehicles including a city bus were reported to have been involved, though no details were released on what led to the collision.
Two people, a 25-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, were listed in serious condition after being transported to an area hospital. Four others were in stable condition, two men ages 65 and 55, and two women ages 65 and 55.
The accident caused the closure of all entrances to the Zipperlane while police and paramedics were responding.
