18-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured in accident on H-1 Freeway

HONOLULU, HI – A motorcycle crash in Honolulu on Tuesday evening sent an 18-year-old man to the hospital, reports KITV.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said the man lost control of his motorcycle just before 7:05 p.m. while riding on the H1 Freeway near the off-ramp for the Pearl City exit.

The motorcycle crashed and the rider suffered multiple injuries.  He was transported by EMS and was hospitalized in serious condition.

Traffic was backed up on the H-1 Freeway westbound while crews responded to the scene.
